Utah dealer wants to make car shopping fun

Most consumers wouldn’t rank the car buying experience high on their list of “fun things to do.” A Utah car dealer is hoping to change that.
The Tooele (pronounced Tu-willa) Performance Auto Mall has done what many people might think is impossible – placed a variety of competing brands under one roof. According to Kirk Bengtzen of the Performance Auto Group, the auto mall has Ford, Chevy, Buick, Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler all together at one location. He says that’s especially helpful when buyers are looking for trucks, because they can compare and test drive the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado and Dodge Ram on the same day in the same place.
Additionally, Bentzgen says that the Performance Auto Mall has a garage that can fix virtually any car. “Because we have so many brands here, back in the shop we have so many technicians that have to know every kind of vehicle that we can service anything,” he says.
